Wow, I loved this. Loved how Claude was so reluctant at first, but caves so quickly to Berger's insistence. ^_^ Also, loving the "characters from a play having sex in a theatre" thing. ^_^ The symmetry is nice.
They both know any protests that Claude might make are empty. In the end if Berger wants to stay, Claude will stay. Claude will want to stay. Claude wouldn’t have it any other way.
And the last lines... Oh those last lines. <3 They summarize the relationship between the two of them so perfectly. Loved it! I absolutely adore your characterization of the two of them -- it is spot-on perfect. ^_^ And I love how even when Sheila's involved... she's not. I remember thinking as I was watching the show, "They make such a big deal out of how much Sheila loves Berger and Claude loves Sheila... yet whenever Berger and Claude have a free moment or a song together, they're either rolling around on the floor with each other or groping each other at center stage. Hmmm..." ^_~
