OK... randomly rereading and just noticed this little gem:
Berger reaches for Claude’s hand and Claude takes it. When Berger pushes at his shoulder, Claude leans back, lets Berger support his weight as he lowers himself to the floor of the stage.
This is totally what they do right before Walking in Space! How did I not notice that before? Very nice symmetry! ^_^
(And I just realized that this is a story I initially commented on before we knew each other. *laughs* That seems so totally weird, now. O_o;;;)
